Reminders About Excursions
Some of our hikes are in more remote areas and there are some important considerations because of this.
Excursions will be between 1 to 2 miles long and take place in wooded areas. Trail conditions can vary based on the previous days weather. Be prepared to encounter some muddy conditions although Mellow Mainer management will strive to pre-scout the conditions and provide prior notification of the conditions.
There are no bathrooms available nor any water stations at many of our planned excursions. To assist you in your preparation, below is a suggested list of items:
Suggested Hiking Essentials
Hydration – Full water bottle
Nutrition – granola bars, nuts
Sun Protection – Sunscreen/Sunglasses/hat
